   A week of workshops and activities for children and families between 12 and 16 August 2008
   
   Tuesday August 12
   Light Lab
   Under 8s, booking essential, Free
   Children must be accompanied by an adult, 10-11.30am and 1-2.30pm
   This day is for kids of up to 8 years old and their parents. We’ll be exploring colour and light to create fantastic silhouetted scenes.
   
   Wednesday August 13,
   Image Alchemy
   All ages, booking essential, under 8s must be accompanied, Free
   10-11.30am and 1-2.30pm
   Come and try out cyanotype photography, producing distinctive blue and white prints developed in sunlight and water.
   
   Thursday August 14
   Photography
   10-13 yr olds, Booking essential, £8 (£5) 10am-4pm
   This intensive day will give participants the opportunity to explore photography from a fine arts perspective. You will work with 2 different artists to produce a portfolio of images to take home. This workshop will be inspired by the exhibition 'Hidden'.
   
   Friday August 15
   Animated Friday
   8-12 yr olds, £8 (£5) booking essential, 10am-4pm
   An opportunity to make your own stop motion animation. This workshop is suitable for absolute beginners and will introduce you to the basics of animation and allow you to make short clip of your own animation.

   Saturday August 16
   Art in the Park, CCANW 11am-4pm, drop-in, FREE, families welcome
   Join us at the CCANW, Haldon Forest park and take part in an outdoor workshop. Make a metallic bird sculpture or woodland animal mask with artist Lucy Jackson. SEE SEPERATE LISTING FOR ART IN THE PARK.

4. Animal Big Screen in the Park, Northernhay Gardens, Exeter
   13 August 2008, 9.00pm
   Outdoor screening event from Wednesday 13 - Saturday 16 August 2008 commencing at 9pm each evening, cost £1.00
   Take advantage of the opportunity to sit back and watch a selection of films on a big 10 metre screen in the open air at Northernhay Gardens this summer. As part of this event Spacex will present two films by Ziad Antar and Yael Bartana on Wednesday 13 and Thursday 14 August, in collaboration with www.tank.tv. 6. Art in the Park at CCANW, Haldon Forest, Exeter
   16 August 2008, 11.00am
   Join us for this one day outdoor festival at CCANW, Haldon Forest Park, Exeter 11am - 4pm, FREE. Plenty of arts activities for the whole family on offer - visual art drop-ins, live music, storytelling, exhibitions, theatre workshop. Arts venues from across Exeter will be participating. There will be an evening performance of 'Henry's Quest' presented by Burn The Curtain Theatre Company in collaboration with Exeter Northcott.
   
   Spacex will be running an exciting children's workshop on the day with artist Lucy Jackson. There will be an opportunity to create wonderful metallic bird sculptures to take home with you. Just drop in and take part.
